My Mom was finally able to join my Dad in Birmingham about two weeks ago. We were so excited to be able to go and surprise her at the new house for Mother's Day. Rachel, Jesse, Jamie and I drove down Saturday evening and headed back Sunday afternoon. It was a quick trip, but was so fun to see my parents in their new city and celebrate with them. We also got to go to church with them and my Dad was teaching Sunday school that morning. I haven't gotten to hear him teach in years. It was so fun to hear his passion and see his joy in teaching others about Christ and His kingdom. I'm so thankful that we got to be there with them.
On a completely unrelated note, I'm totally excited about the 2 hour LOST finale tomorrow night! What is going to happen to the island? How are all four of the separate stories going to come together? Are we really going to get to see what/who Jacob is? Did Sawyer/Juliet/Kate really leave on the sub? (Surely not!) What is the major season-ending cliffhanger going to be? What a crazy and fantastic show, I love it!
