Today we got word that my parents were finally able to sell their house in Florida! They had a family seriously looking at it and even put an offer on it a month or two ago, but it took a little longer than expected for the closing to complete. They had it on the market for about 9 months. My dad moved to Birmingham in October to start his new job while my mom and the dog held back to try to sell the house. By May they had enough of that and moved everything to Alabama. I am so excited that the burden of selling a home they were not living in is finally over, I know it has been a stressful time. What a huge answer to prayer, even if it did take longer than we had hoped!
